Our story
A life spent opening doors for others
RJ New Horizon Foundation is named for Ravi Judge — “RJ” — whose example is the reason this work exists.
Who Ravi was
Long before this foundation had a name, Ravi Judge was already doing its work. In Punjab, she served on the board of the Red Cross, giving her time to people in crisis. After emigrating to the United States, she became a court translator — standing beside people at some of the most frightening moments of their lives, making sure they were understood.
That was the thread running through everything she did: helping people navigate systems that were stacked against them. She had a particular tenderness for women — for anyone trying to find their footing in an unfamiliar place — and a belief that dignity should never be a privilege.
We carry her name because we want to carry her way of helping: patiently, without judgment, and always with respect for the person in front of us.
Our mission
RJ New Horizon Foundation empowers underserved individuals with the skills, confidence, and support needed to secure meaningful employment. Through resume development, interview coaching, and job placement assistance, we help individuals build sustainable career pathways and achieve long-term independence.
Our vision
To create a future where every individual, regardless of background, has access to opportunity, dignity, and a pathway to a stable career.
Why this matters
A good job changes more than a bank balance — it restores confidence, stability, and a sense of belonging. Many of the people we serve are capable and ready; they simply need someone in their corner who knows how the system works. That is exactly the role Ravi played for so many. By offering this help freely and without conditions, we keep her legacy alive in the most practical way we can: one new beginning at a time.
